TCM Guasa/ Scrapping
This is a natural alternative therapy that invoices scraping of the skin with a massage tool to improve circulation. It is an excellent form of preventive therapy, as guasa therapy is able to pinpoint the root cause of disease, way before it even get to the point of impacting your health adversely. Herbal Medication forms the cornerstone of TCM. Each herb, supplement has a different function and benefit. Together, they form a formula which is customised for each and every customer to suit the condition and health of the patient. This is important as each’s persons reaction will be different.

Infra Red Heat Therapy

Is Acupuncture painful ?
Acupuncture experience is different for everyone, but does not cause discomfort or pain. The needles used is very thin (0.25 mm in diameter). When the needles reach the acu-points and the Qi is stimulated by needle manipulation.
It’s normal to feel the energy as sensations such as slight dullness and heaviness. These are considered to be positive responses.
What is in my herbal medication ?

How is Moxibustion performed ?
Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called “moxa” are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences. Moxa is usually made from the dried leafy material of Chinese mugwort.
What do I need to observe before and after a TCM visit ?
There is no need to fast or refrain from eating or drinking before your TCM visit.
However, you are advised against showering for up to 2 hours after your TCM treatment, as treatment is meant to expel wind and dampness from the body.
After a treatment, it is also advisable to increase water intake to flush out the toxins from the body.
